A. The Civic Society is here to promote the preservation, conservation, culture and education of items of historical, or technical interest for the public benefit of Northampton.

B. To promote high standards of design and planning in new architecture in the Northampton district and seeking that these new builds enhance rather than distract from the town by being practical and aesthetically pleasing.

C. To educate and inform the public in the geography, history, natural history and architecture of the Northampton district

D. To secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in the Northampton district.
